Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. The weather is looking good enough for a picnic here, so I think we might just do that — a nice lunch, a book or two and a shady tree at the nearby park sound about right. How about you?

A crumbling mill in a small Italian village is now the beautiful retreat of powerhouse architect and design couple Roberto and Ludovica Palomba Serafini. Working an almost magical transformation, they took away the small dark interior rooms, cleaned the fire blackened ceilings and opened it up to natural light.
